Sand filters are best used in high-dirt settings. Easy backwashing enables you to flush out the large amounts of dirt a high-traffic pool recieves on a frequent basis. Although the water clarity is not the best (30-50 microns) compared to other filter medias, sand filters can handle high flow rates. If superior clarity is important to you, and your pool "needs" a sand filter... use clarifying agents to improve overall water clarity.

FILTER INSTALLATION PRICE INCLUDES:
- Removal and disposal of previous filter.
- Removal of sand from property.
- Plumbing up until 1st return line ball valve(s).
- Plumbing to discharge connection of pool pump. Includes 1.5" or 2" CPVC threaded nipple.
- Installation and leveling of pre-fabricated concrete equipment pad (2'x 2' or 2'x3'), if needed.

EXTRA INSTALLATION CHARGES FOR:
- Backwash valve or hose.
- Any valves (Jandy, ball, check) that need to be installed on the plumbing line.
- Any plumbing configuration conversions from D.E. to sand or vice-versa.
- Any temperature sensors or chemical feed lines that need to be re-installed.
- Extra installation charges will be invoiced separately and only after providing estimate to client.
