The Eco-Matic system will work on almost any existing pool or spa. The entire system consists of two small units, which can easily be attached to your pump/filtration equipment. Once the devices are installed, you just add common salt to the water. After the initial addition of salt, the purification begins. As the mildly salted water passes through the electronic Eco-Matic cell, it's converted into a natural sanitizer that cleanses and purifies your pool or spa water, but without any of the harmful effects of packaged chlorine. The sanitizing agent then reverts back to salt, and your water will continually be maintained at a constant level of purity.

After testing and installing most salt water chlorine generators, we've settled on recommending 2 systems: The Balboa Eco-Matic ESC 36 and the Pentair IntelliChlor IC-40. The Eco-Matic electrode cells are easy to clean and monitor. In addition, the cell blades are spread further apart than most electrode cells... which means the cells don't clog with calcium as quickly as other cells. This also means that water flow has less of a chance to be restricted by any calcium obstruction. The control panel is also easy to learn and operate... if not too basic. As far as consistent performance, the Eco-Matic outpaces any other salt system we've encountered.

SALT SYSTEM INSTALLATION PRICE INCLUDES:
- PVC pipe and Schedule 40 fittings.
- Electrical installation from control panel to timer.
- Mounting of control panel to concrete wall.

SALT SYSTEM INSTALLATION SPECIAL PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:
- AquaSalt. Required amounts of salt usually amount to an extra $50.00-$75.00 on pools under 25,000 gallons.
- Plumbing of valves (Jandy, backwash, check) to accomodate installation of the electrode cell. Some installation will require little to no re-configuration of your plumbing system. However, there are going to be some cases in which re-configuration of the plumbing line will need to be performed. This will allow for proper installation of the electrode cell.
- Stabilizer. Proper stabilizer levels must be achieved in order for the non-stabilized chlorine to lock into the pool water.
