Specializing In Salt System Install, Repair, And Diagnosis

Important notice to our new or current weekly pool service clients:

We're offering the Pentair IntelliChlor IC40 installed for $1,195.00! This does not include sales tax, AquaSalt, or any valves if re-configuration of piping is needed. Please note that a majority of installs can be made without re-configuration of piping.

This installation price is likely the lowest of any company in the Valley. We're offering the systems at these low prices to help lower the chlorine tablet or liquid chlorine costs associated with non-salt system pools.

Benefits of salt systems:

  • Eliminate the need to use and handle chlorine tablets.
  • Greatly reduce (or eliminate) the need to super-chlorinate your pool involving other forms of sanitizers.
  • Helps eliminate the formation of algae (if chemical balance is within proper ranges).
  • Softer and more pleasant feel to pool water.
  • Reduction of irritants that are caused from by-products of other forms of sanitizers.

Important factors to keep in mind when having a salt system installed:

  • They are not "plug-n-leave" systems. Proper maintenance of your pool equipment and water will help extend the life of your electrode cell.
  • Electrode cells still need to be manually cleaned even if they're "self-cleaning" cells.
  • pH levels should be kept between 7.2-7.8 ppm. Salt systems will produce a higher pH (~8.0 ppm), so controlling the pH with muriatic acid is a must.
  • Alkalinity is also very important. Levels should be maintained between 80-120 ppm.
  • Stabilizer levels will need to be adjusted 1-2 times per year. Salt systems produce a non-stabilized form of chlorine which results in the loss of stabilizer throughout the year.
  • Salt does not evaporate from the pool. The only way salt levels are reduced is by water loss (splash-out, backwashing, leaks, etc).
  • Seawater salt levels are about 35,000 ppm. In general, common salt content for a salt system is 3,500 ppm. Quite a difference!

We combine several factors in determining which salt system to install on our pools:

  • What type of plumbing configuration is currently in place?
  • How large is the pool?
  • How much demand will the pool receive?
